Making Birthdays Easy with Dom and Geri

Like most people these days my life can get a little busy, and when I’m running around taking the kids to school, making sure homework is done and getting the dog out for his daily exercise it can be easy to forget that birthday (or two) coming up on the horizon. Coming from decent-sized families my husband and I are lucky to have the birthdays of parents, siblings, nieces and nephews – and even a 101 year old Gran Gran to attend to. And that’s without even mentioning our own kids, their BFFs, mine and my husband’s friends (yay!) – and of course the family dog (please say it’s not just me?).

So with all this to organise I was delighted when the lovely people over at Dom and Geri.com offered to send me a selection of their personalised greetings products to take a look at. Impressed by the family ethos behind their business (the site was founded by a brother and sister duo) – and keen to get a bit of help with my long list of forthcoming birthday and anniversary requirements – my response was a big ‘yes please!’

I ordered a range of personalised greetings cards and wrapping paper for my upcoming list of Birthdays and Important Occasions, and I have to say I was very pleased with the service I received. The website was straightforward and user friendly, delivery was speedy, and the cards and wrap I ordered were good quality, nicely packaged and presented very well (not a flimsy envelope in sight)! I enjoyed being able to browse the website’s good range of reasonably priced designs from the comfort of my kitchen table, and most importantly, it was lovely to be able to add names, photographs and our own messages to the cards. By the way, that’s my Mum and Dad in the photo on their wedding day, didn’t they look lovely? (and Mum and Dad, if you’re reading this, perhaps you should avert your eyes.)

So why not escape my clumsy alliteration and pop over to their website for a nosey? And anyway, I have to get going – if you’ve had a look at my bullet journal spread for the week you’ll know I have a birthday card to send….

* For the purposes of this review, I was sent a range of personalised products by Dom and Geri. All thoughts, opinions, butterfly shaped seashells, and the requirement to send a birthday card almost every other day each January, are my own.
